The Girls go way back.

Kelcey & Caitlin met in 2007 during their freshman year in college and instantly became best friends. Planning and decorating formals, large gatherings & other events together became a way of life, and they quickly became a design “duo.” Attending to every last detail, they put a strong emphasis on hospitality and excellence. As graduation came after 4 short years, their jobs sadly put 433 miles between them.

Kelcey and her husband, Joel, moved back to Ohio, and Caitlin moved to Georgia with her husband, Kyle. 5 years went by with only phone calls and a handful of visits to keep them in touch. Life kept moving along with new jobs, homes & babies for each of them.

Then everything changed in 2016! That’s when the opportunity presented itself for the Thompson’s to move north and not only live in the same city, but join the same organization as Kelcey & Joel.

Kelc & Cait picked up right where they left off 5 years earlier: they quickly got back into the routine of planning events and designing spaces together. Expanding into larger projects like building makeovers, remodeling their own homes, offices, & friend’s homes, every space they could get their hands on was being transformed! And the name? Well, after seeing how they well collaborated together project after project, Joel started affectionately referring to this “design duo” as “The Girls” - and the rest is history.

And now here we are! We love interior design & helping people transform their spaces into something that they love, and we were honored to be featured in the 125th Anniversary Edition of House Beautiful Magazine as the Exclusive Dayton Interior Design Studio. You might not have the vision for it, but WE DO! No matter where you live, the size of your space, or what your budget is… let The Girls come in and design a space that you’ll love.
